About Us

Our mission is to glorify God by making growing disciples of Jesus Christ.  That mission comes from our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ:

Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.”

Matthew 28:19–20

Now to Him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, to Him be glory in the church and in Christ Jesus throughout all generations, forever and ever. Amen.

Ephesians 3:20–21

Who is a disciple of Jesus Christ?

A disciple of Jesus is a follower of Jesus.  It means you have entered into a personal, saving relationship with Him.  How do you do that?  Through faith.  You must turn from your sins against our Holy God and follow after Christ, trusting Him as Savior and Lord.  Believe that He paid the price for your sins on the cross by dying in your place.  That is a price that we could never pay.  A disciple follows Jesus by following His word, the Bible.

Jesus gave us the mission, so all that we do as a church should be working toward making growing disciples of Him.  When we say growing disciples, we mean that in two ways.  First, those who are disciples of Jesus, who have put their faith in Him, should be growing to be more like Him.  Second, it is our desire to see disciples growing in number.  We want to see more and more people put their faith in Jesus as their Savior.
